Yellow submarine

Hey everyone!

Colorful design inspired by the 1968 animated musical film "Yellow Submarine"by The Beatles.
Dedicated to my father Osmar, who likes The Beatles a lot his birthday is this week \o/

A lot of colours today! My nails are so small the submarine need to be divided in three nails...

I used a wide selection of colors, but you can use whichever colors you like. I also used two nail brushes, but the most essential is the small one!

Thanks for reading and give it a try...perhaps you can send me the link to your image!

Gaudi Nail art

Hey Everyone!

Today's nail art is very special and based on Antoni Gaudi's Architecture. I have visited Barcelona last month and iwas a wonderful experience, especially the art of Gaudi and his story, so I had a lot of inspiration!

Don't know Antoni Gaudi?! To find out more click here.

I want to represent the colorful tile pieces, which are present in his work and my color palette was inspired by "Casa Batló" (picture below).

These are the materials I used:

Nail Polish colors: white, green, purple, blue, blue light, orange light, yelow and top coat.
To make the "broken effect"for the tile pieces I used white acrilic paint and a very small brush.

Firstly you paint a white coat then use the nail polish brush to make an abstract drawing. It isn't very difficult because it doesn't have to be perfect.

Using the small brush and the white acrylic paint you'll create the tile peaces.

I applied this design on two nails and the other three I just created a strip using the same process. Don't forget that a good top coat is very important!

It takes time, but it isn't difficult!

Give it a try and have a nice week!

Halloween - Cute monsters

I'm really excited for Halloween!

Halloween's origin date back to the 10th centure and started here in Ireland!

Dracula was character created by the Irish writer Bram Stoker and I was really inspired...

The idea was to use a lots of monsters or scary creatures!
We have a witch's cat, a pumpking, Frankenstein, Dracula and a ghost.

This designs are not difficult but since there are lots of details you have pay attention!

Nail polish colors: white, light green, black, yellow, green, purple with glitter, orange, blood red, gray.

I have used white acrylic paint for some details, but you can also use the white nail polish.

I have also used two brushes and a nail dotter pen, but whatever you use it's up to you!

You can choose other colors and remember...these guys are monsters!

Give it a try and go trick or treating!

Ombre Jaguar or Oncinha light!!!

I am from Brazil baby and I chose this design thinking about the Amazon!!!

In the Amazon there's a feline called 'Onça pintada'. Its fur has a beautiful design and this animal is a symbol of the Brazilian fauna!

What a strong and beautiful feline!
I didn't use the original animal colors and I liked the result!

Nail polish colors: Orange fluor, pink (skin shade), yellow, brown and top coat.

I used a sponge to create the gradient, small golden papers for detailing on one finger and the nail dotter pen.

First paint the pink coat (skin shade).

The sponge technique is simple: Put the nail polish in a small plastic container, dip the sponge in and take off the excess. Pad it to the nail. You'll notice the nailtip is not perfect, but you can fix it with the yellow nail polish, just like in a french manicure.

And then you can make the details, and it's very easy... In one finger I added 3 pieces of golden paper to give it extra shine.

The result is amazing! Give it a try!

Mooooo pedicure!

I loved this design! It's so cute...

I always give the proper credit when a nail design is not mine, because you can see loads of ideas online.

This design is by professional IDQ and I sa it on Youtube haha...Youtube is great!

So I tried it on my toenails:

I liked the result!

It's one of the best channels I have ever seen!

The materials: white, bright pink and black nail polish; crystal stones and my dotter pen! And the top coat!
It's an easy design to make and the most difficult part is to properly paint the white nail polis - You'll need a good one!

Very easy... and you can add some crystal stones wherever you want! Give it try!
